The Hangar
Skydive Dallas is a premier skydiving
center with over 10 years experience
in offering you the best skydiving
experience in
North Texas. We're open all year.
Operation.) We had your
comfort in mi nd
when we designed our hanger
with
an AIR CONDITIONED
Lobby and Classrooms, an observation
deck so you can watch the
skydives, clean, attractive, indoor
restrooms, with running water, and two
large carpeted indoor packing areas. Remember to stop by
our Pro Shop. We have a variety of items such as Tee
Shirt, Skydiving Jewelry, and more to commemorate your skydive.
The Dive
Our onsite cafe, "The Dive," offers a variety of sandwiches,
buritos, burgers, fries, appetizers. (No Alcohol is
allowed during skydiving hours.) Bring
your appetite. We have a lot of people who come out just
to eat at the cafe, and watch the skydivers from the deck.
We even have vegetarian selections!
Aircraft Department
We are understandably proud of
our flight department. Our airplanes are maintained to the
highest standards. We use professional pilots who are trained
and retrained specifically for skydiving operations in our
aircraft. If you have any questions about our airplanes, feel
free to speak to our Chief Pilot, Mike Vinther.
Dehaviland Super
Otter
The
ultimate skydiving airplane. The "Super Otter" is used by more
drop zones than any other twin engine aircraft. A "Super Otter"
can carry 22 skydivers to 13,500 in just 13 minutes!!!!!
Powered by two reliable
PT6-27 engines, our Twin Otter is painted school bus
yellow and has bench seating for your comfort. This
airplane was invited to participate in the World Record 300-Way
Skydive in 2003.

Cessna Super Caravan
This
is our trademark airplane. The Caravan was the first turbine
aircraft purchased by Skydive Dallas in 1993 and is still the
workhorse of the fleet. We have more experience flying
skydivers in a Caravan than any other operator! Now
powered by an upgraded turbine engine, this is the fastest
climbing Caravan flying skydivers. It can carry 15 jumpers
to altitude in about 12 minutes. It's wide in-flight door
allows easy exits for both Tandems and AFF students.
Cessna Skylane
No
drop zone would be complete without this venerable single engine
Cessna. More skydivers have made their first jumps from 182's
than all other airplanes combined times 10. This versatile plane
is still commonly used by smaller DZ's. Skydive Dallas uses its
182 to help out wherever necessary.
See what they're saying about us!
